Gallery works fine in Firefox. However, images are greyed out in Chrome. I enabled “debugging” in settings and the images show up now. Disable “debugging”, refresh browser, images don’t show up. I don’t know where to find or display any “debugging logs”.

I read this may be a JS error, but I have no idea where to look to fix it.

    Hi @darksoundlab

I have opened the page you shared with us on a Chrome (latest version) tab and the thumbnail images in the FooGallery gallery that’s on that page do load as shown in this linked screenshot: https://prnt.sc/WvY8AssFBSy8

Regarding the debugging that you mentioned you enabled, could you kindly clarify if you were referring to enabling WordPress’s debugging option, or if you are referring to the FooGallery debugging option that’s found in FooGallery -> Settings -> Advanced pages? Thanks in advance for this clarification.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Thanks Elvis,

I was referring to the debugging in the FooGallery plugin. Once I enabled it and refreshed the page, the images show up. If I disable it and refresh the page, the images are greyed out.

As of now, I have it enabled, which is why you are able to see the images.

I am trying to determine a permanent solution so I don’t have to leave the debugging enabled. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @darksoundlab

The debugging option’s functionality is simply to display the gallery info of a particular gallery, such as the gallery settings, images added etc.as you troubleshoot a gallery or if you want to learn more about the gallery as shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/2DJC-C2RZXhb

Because of this, it should not affect your gallery or your site in any way, whether enabled or disabled.

To be able to test this further, I’d like to ask if you can clone/copy this site and create a staging site. If you do, you can do so and then ensure that debugging is disabled and then share the page with us.

Kindly let me know if this is possible before I can advise further. Thanks

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Thanks again Elvis,

I am not able to clone or stage the site on another server due to size and client agreements. If you are able to work with me at a specific time, I can make arrangements to be available at your convenience, and disable the debugging, run tests and make any other changes you require to troubleshoot the issue.

Let me know if this is something you are able to coordinate.

    Hi @darksoundlab

If you cannot create such a staging site, then I will need to login to the site to quickly test this out so that I can be able to effectively find out what’s causing the issue.

Kindly get in touch with me via elvis at fooplugins dot com with this same question and we’ll continue with this from there. Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Thanks for that.

May I ask, since you explained that the debugging option is “simply to display the gallery info of a particular gallery, such as the gallery settings, images added etc.”, is there any issue with just leaving it enabled for the time being, since it at least seems to display the gallery images?

    @darksoundlab

There is no issue with leaving it enabled. As I mentioned earlier, enabling or disabling the debugging option will not affect your site in any way.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.
