I’ve been able to have a look at the linked image now! The reason why the images are layered like that in the gallery is becasue the images are of significantly different lengths.
For example, on the screenshot shared, the length of the image on the right is twice the one on the left, which is casuing this. In your case, I’d advise you to use the Responsive image gallery template.

But in gallery preview they are sorted in an uniform way without blank spaces, such as this: https://i.imgur.com/6io2up8.png
In the first screenshot the pictures start on the same line, while in the gallery preview they are in rows. I want to accomplish that gallery preview look, because there is no spacing between the pictures.
