Images not displaying in IE

I am about to pull my hair out. So I hope someone can help with this. Imagine an issue in IE, well of course and I can’t seem to get a set of images to display. I have tried the follow:

Made sure all images are RGB
Renamed the image and uploaded again.
Placed image in a wrapping div.
Check the source code to make sure the img is there. (shows in source code)
Made sure the links were right. (check)
