I am having the same problem.

Seems the issue is with &ssl=1 being appended to the image url’s. This issue was presented 3 years ago and never resolved:

Great, a lot of my pictures are done. This is a nightmare to tell my clients. No backup has it because its all on jetpack.
@premium23 Jetpack is not able to connect to the https://premium23.com/ site, which means Jetpack features, like Site Accelerator, aren’t working.
The site appears to be using an SSL certificate with TLS 1.3. Jetpack does not currently support TLS 1.3, which is why it cannot connect to the site. Please ask your web host to set TLS 1.2 as the minimum version.
Once that’s done, Jetpack should be able to connect to the site. After that, you should be able to use Jetpack Site Accelerator.
@julesomattic Thank you. I had TLS 1.3 on Cloudflare. Set it to the minimum of 1.2.
All images are now loading properly. Thank you once again.
Hi @premium23
Thanks for reporting back! I do see that Jetpack is disconnected from your website at the moment. Was that done on purpose? You can reconnect it by following the steps in our documentation:

Best,
