Images not associated with slider

I’ve had the slider working perfectly for over a year, in two languages.
But suddenly it doesn’t show up on the frontpage.
I checked the images and they stopped being associated to the slider.
I linked them back to the respective sliders twice, but the slider only shows up for a minute. After that, the images in my media library stop being connected to the slider.
I have no idea why this might be happening, i would appreciate some help.
