Images issue

Just updated my theme and now the feature image shows up on the home page of my site along with the image I have within the post itself. Essentially putting two of the same images to each post on my home page.

Is there a way to remove all featured images?

I liked being able to use both the featured image and the image within my blog post. Now if I only use featured image, it only shows a smaller version of the image on my home page, but doesn’t have it on the actual page of the post. I’ve got to have the image on the actual post URL as well as on home page.

Do you think this will be fixed with next update? Or will I have to stop myself from using the featured image tool from here on out?
