 * Hi,
 * I’ve already posted a question regarding uploading images and permissions, but
   I’ve seemed to have hit another snag and I’m wondering if someone could help.
 * When I want to add a new photo to a post, I use the media uploader. The problem
   comes after I select an image, it loads, crunches and I get the normal options
   of adding a new title, alt text, etc., but I can’t see the picture, instead it’s
   just a “broken image” symbol. If I try to insert it into the post, all I get
   is the same symbol instead of my photo.
 * To make this weirder, if, before I insert the post, I decide to edit it, I can
   see my picture, and I can edit it. But again, if I try to insert it, it just
   becomes the “broken image” symbol.
 * Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what can you recommend? (FWIW, I’ve
   reinstalled 3.3.2, but it’s still giving me the same problem.)
 * Thanks in advance!

 * Check your uploads path in Settings->Media. It should be blank in most installs.
   Also check that the image files are actually being uploaded using FTP.

 * Esmi, you are a genius! For whatever reason, the uploads path was pointing at
   the non-existant “wp-admin/uploads”, so I’ve pointed it back to the original
   directory and now it all works perfectly!
 * Many, many thanks!
