Not the developer, but I believe that is something google (or other search engine) chooses on its own and not something that can be specified by any plugin.

@hubmacfan is right, it’s up to the search engine to display images.
What you’re referring to is what Google likes to call “Rich results”.
To stimulate this behavior, you can use Structured Data.
For example, our Articles extension automates this for posts to help acquire “Rich results” and “Top stories” status.
Keep in mind that Google generally only displays such highlighted content from known-to-be trustworthy and authority sites, which usually have proven their status by accumulating lots of backlinks.
