  • Hello,

I have a blog and as is typical I have a front page showing the latest 5 or so posts up to the point where I have inserted !more. I like to put small image in that part of the post so that it provides interest. When the reader clicks on the more link it opens into the full post and I would like the thumbnail from the front to expand to its full size. Is there a way to do this?
I have searched around but I am just not sure how to achieve this, if there is a plugin or the like?
I should say that I have very few php skills

    Thanks in advance

  • The way I do this, if I understand you correctly, is to add an image at the top of the post in the usual way. After that I set the same image as the featured image and that shows in the posts page.

I have had some trouble with that because different images use the feature image in slightly different ways. For instance, one theme added the featured image in the blog page and the post so I ended up with a duplicate image in the post.

All I am saying is that I think this will work if the theme supports it. If it doesn’t, you can get it to with some code.
