Images from my site won't show on Facebook

    Hi everybody,

    I have a problem with posting articles from my WordPress site on Facebook. I can post them, but only an URL is shown. I cannot post any image from my site or the selected article on Facebook. I realized that for a month now every Croatian site has the same problem. But, of course, I’m only interested how to solve mine problem, no theirs:-)

    I am not sure how you are doing that, but there are many WordPress plugins that can do exactly what you need. Try to google something like this: “wordpress post to facebook plugin”, or try this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordbook/. There was transition in Facebook API this year and some plugins could be outdated and have issues like one in your case, so try to find latest plugins that work.

    It’s more FaceBook is stupid than anything else. They’ve changed their method of pulling images more times than I can count.

    If your image is included in your post, it almost always works.

    If it’s not, it may not.

    This happens to everyone, even major news sites, no matter WHAT web publishing product they use.

    Yeah, when I post it with that plugin it works (although only one image pops up which is not from that article rather a logo of the page and thats probably my fault)..

    I usually copy the link from the adress bar and insert it on facebook..it worked before, now it does not work.

    I figured that all of that happens with .hr domain (Croatia sites have that domain)..every site has the same problem..
