# Images error after permalink structure change

 * I’ve changed the structure of permalink from category/postname in simply postname.
   
   If i try to access to an article using the old permalink, and wordpress automatically
   redirect me on the new address, perfect!
 * but there are a problem: the images are visualized correctly, but if i click 
   above it wordpress give me an error, page not found.
 * if i open the article in the edit mode, and i save without changing anything,
   the image link it work again…

 * yes….
 * my old permalink structure was: postid/postname
    now i have only: /postname
 * the old images remain whit this link: postid/postname/imagename
 * there is a way to redirect the traffic that go to the old images structure?
 * for the topics there isn’t any problem, the autoredirect of wordpress work well,
   but not for the images…

 * For the images, you will have to manually update the image url.
