Images don't appear where they are supposed to

  • I import the image, select either align right or left, and add to the document. Then I go back and edit the image to add a border and maybe some vertical and/or horizontal space. It looks great on the page.

    Then I update and preview. Text isn’t wrapped, images are sometimes not where they are supposed to be. There is sometimes a large head space at the top of the previewed page.

    Any idea what’s going on? I am not well versed in html, and I depend on the WP interface to get me where I need to go.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
