Support » Plugin: Accordion Slider Lite » images distorted when closed, not opening full width

    When I preview my horizontal accordion, it works perfectly, but when displayed in a page, it does not. Images to the far right are being squeezed vertically and severely distorted, rather than just showing a cropped portion of the image. When opened, the portion of the image that is revealed is smaller as you move to the right through the slider, to the extent that the later images in the slideshow reveal less than half of the image. I have the height set to 600, width to 100%, opened panel size to Max, and max opened panel size to 90%. In preview, all of these settings work perfectly.

    Aside from a “coming soon” page plugin, this is one of the only things I’ve installed so far. I haven’t even changed from the default WordPress theme yet. I am, however, running WordPress version 5.1.1 which I understand hasn’t completed testing for the plugin yet. I hope they can be made to play nicely together, I love the look and ease of this plugin!

    Hi,

    I can’t access the page, but if it’s the same issue that I’ve seen before, it’s caused by some CSS from the theme, which is why it works fine in the preview but not in the page. The images probably have ‘max-width: 100%’ applied to them, and that’s what distorts them. If that’s the case, you can prevent the issue with this CSS:

    .as-background {
        max-width: none !important;
    }

    Best,
    David
