I’m running an m/u environment at http://mappaquerque.com with two mapped domains as sub domains – opendebates2016.com and http://nosnoopingallowed.org/. Two days ago the customer called and said all the images had disappeared from his site at http://opendebates2016.com. None of the featured images we’re showing, or the header. all gone. I went into the media library and all the images there we’re just blank placeholders. I FTP’s and found that the images actually existed. I deactivated all plug ins but that didn’t have any effect. I submitted a ticket to Host Gator and so far all they’ve been able to to say is “Looking into this for you, it appears that there is actually no reference to images in the header and footer of the site in the page’s HTML source” I replied back to them explaining that this didn’t account for the images not rendering in the media library and they’re continuing to explore. Wondering if anyone might have some insight into this issue. I would hate to have to rebuild the sites from the ground up.
    Thanks in Advance
    Dan

As an additional note – the root site at mappaquerque.com is fine. Also when I upload a new image to either opendebates2016.com or nosnoopingallowed.org the new images don’t render in the media library either.

More Data – I tried to create a new site off of http://mappaquerque.com just to see if I could replicate (or not) the issue and apparently I can’t create a new site now and figuring the two issues are related.
The error message after I tried to create the site

“Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class ‘link_library_plugin_admin’ does not have a method ‘new_network_site’ in /home/mapboss/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 470

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/mapboss/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php:470) in /home/mapboss/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121″

got rid of the bad plug in and can create new sites but the new site also has the image issue.

One last thing. I have wp smush installed and in the media library for opendebates2016 in the smush it column there is an error message of
http://opendebates.mappaquerque.com/files/2014/03/header-new-2014-copy4.jpg must be within the website home URL (http://opendebates2016.com)

That’s all I got for now.
    Hopefully someone can help out.
    Thanks

Thanks for getting back Mike. I had to tear down the site and rebuild it from the ground up. The images and all were in the blog.dir folders, no content was lost but couldn’t wait. Thanks for the message. I’m closing this ticket as well.
