Could you please provide us with more information, including your website address, so we can investigate this further?
Our plugin does not include a removal feature, so the images should still be available after optimization. Additionally, the plugin has a built-in restore feature that allows you to easily revert images to their original state if needed.

It’s a client’s site so I’m not in liberty to share the address. I had to re-upload every image for all the missing product photos since I already deleted the plugin. The file was there but it was blank, both on the frontend and the backend gallery and individual pages.
Weirdly enough, when you looked at the zoomed version on the product image, it showed.
Sorry I can’t help you more, I had to fix it asap.
