Support » Plugin: Photoswipe Masonry Gallery » Images cut off on mobile

  • The images in my gallery load fine in a desktop or tablet format but on mobile the images are cutoff and appear grayed out. The images aren’t resizing to the smaller screen size. I’m thinking this can maybe be fixed with a css @media addition to my style.css but I’m not sure what to include for adjustment.

    I saw this thread earlier:
but the code didn’t alleviate the problem and I think it was more directed at other elements in the page.

Any help greatly appreciated, love photoswipe!

  • Update: the gallery appears to not be loading correctly at all now. It’s not loading in true masonry format and the images are all grayed out. It still works when you click on individual images, but the gallery is not loading correctly. There was a thread on this previously but it had not resolution.

Can you post a link to demo the issue?

Sorry, I thought the link it asked when I posted would be visible. The grayed images on desktop issue I fixed. The Autoptimize plugin was optimizing Javascript and screwing up the gallery. The mobile issue from my first post is still happening though.

I’m wondering if this could be caused by an optimization plugin as well. I have Autoptimize and W3 Total Cache running. If you can’t think of anything wrong I can play around with those plugins later.

try disabling Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,

I attempted re-configuring Autoptimize but also went so far as to completely disable Autoptimize and W3 Total Cache with no avail. Is resizing of the photos in the gallery a feature included in this plugin. I have the images the perfect size for desktop through the thumbnail settings for the plugin so if possible I’d like to not have to reduce those.
