# Images & CSS not loading

 * I just installed WordPress 3.0.1 but images and CSS aren’t loading in both the
   blog and the dashboard.
 * Any ideas?

 * The CSS is loading, actually.
 * The images are not.

   is a 404. Are you sure it’s uplaoded?

 * Yes the image files are definitely there – I can see them using my FTP utitlity.
   Strangely though, I can’t load them even when I put the absolute URL into my 
   browser…

 * What’s in your .htaccess? Do you have any image blocking/hotlink protection up?

 * The .htaccess file is empty.

 * I don’t have anything else set up to block images by the way.
