Blogger Importer
Images blurry (3 posts)

I just used the Blogger importer a few days ago to migrate my blog from blogger to wordpress. First of all, it took forever to import the images. It kept stopping and I had to restart the import over and over. Finally, the import finished, but now I'm noticing many of my posts have blurry images. How do I fix this?
Here's an example of one of my posts so you can see what I mean: http://foodwhine.com/2014/01/butternut-squash-and-bacon-penne.html

Just to add, for some reason the image source code is linked to the 300x199 size image. If I remove those dimensions in the link, it looks fine. I have over 400 posts and over 1000 images though, so I don't want to go through each post individually. Is there an easier way to correct this?

    Hi thornbird,
yes, the plugin is designed to make your images fit the "medium" size in the media settings of the but it does not strip out the height and width settings in the process.
If you increase the medium size to 640x320 to match your old size, clear everthing down and re-import then you will have the images linked as desired.
An alternative would be to use a find and replace plugin to remove the width="640" and height="320" from the posts.
    Hope this helps.
