    Hello Mateusz!

Thank you for a great plugin!

Just noticed that images become appear in jpg/png. I hope everything made correct, file .htaccess added in the uploads folder as mentioned in FAQ.

Issue is similar to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/images-still-appear-in-jpg, but solution didn’t help.

WP multisite, no CDN, webp images generated and all has smaller size than originals.
I did the test with red and green directories, described in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/images-still-appear-in-jpg/#post-12554343.

    So result is following:
/wp-content/directory-red/example.png still load the “red” image, while
    /wp-content/directory-red/example.png2 loads “green” one.

I guess, something wrong in how my server understand the .htaccess rules or something else…

    Could you check it please?

    Artem

    Hey Mateusz!

My hosting support team fixed the issue by disabling nginx for my site. Now images delivered via Apache server and rules work as expected.

Although I understand, that they use nginx in purpose. Maybe this is for better performance. I asked them to reconfigure the nginx using instructions from FAQ, but it’s a shared hosting and doesn’t support nginx configuration. So I use only Apache now. No issues.

Anyway the average load time increased, and I’m happy with result!

Thank you once again and good luck! My 5 stars for you!
