Images are "locked" to the hight, not to the width.

    Hi.

    I suddenly got a strange problem. I use 800x1133px as a large size thumbnail to my images and have changed this in a child theme and in the functions.php file.

    Earlier I have uploaded images that are like 600×600 from time to time and no problems there because the image just resizes to the width and the text under the image just moves up. But now when I upload a image that is in a square format it get resized to 800x1133px and cropped at the ends.

    What is wrong with it?

    As I said I have a child theme and only make changes in separate php-files that goes with my child theme so I don’t have to worry about updates that deletes my custom changes.

    Yesterday I made an export xml-file so that I could export all the blog-posts and images to another site. Is it because of that?

    Really hope for som help here.

    Sorry sorry sorry! I found the problem.
    For some reason the word “true” had ended up after the sizes in my functions.php-file. Don’t know how, but when I took them away everything is back to normal. 😀
