    My website has a large front page image, 1250pixels wide. When I click the Facebook share button for that page, the preview indicates it will be used as a wide image on Facebook. But it comes out as a thumbnail. This was working before and just started happening.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    It doesn’t appear that you’re using WPSSO, so I’ll close this thread.

    If you get the chance to do a “View Source” on your home page – or any other post / page on your site – to compare the meta tags and Schema JSON-LD markup (important for Google’s Knowledge Graph) from WPSSO and the plugin you’re currently using, I would strongly encourage you to do that – along with comparing the two using Google’s Testing Tool https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/.

    For example, the following markup from your current plugin is really not good (not to mention that there’s no JSON-LD for Google!):

      <meta itemprop="name" content="Home"/>
      <meta itemprop="headline" content="Home"/>

    Your image is also a bit small for retina / Apple device users (won’t appear as sharp), but that’s a minor thing.

    js.
