Images and sub pages not working on website only when on my PC with server on

    Basically I been building a website using WordPress and everything shows up fine when I access the website on the computer i built the website on, I am hosting it on a free hosting platform http://nhktech.x10host.com/.. Even when I put the files and transfer them to another computer and host them locally, when i set it up correctly the site will load, but the pictures will not load also my Contact Us page no longer works among-st the other ones as well, just homepage works

    Almost forgot.. Also this only seems to work on the pc when I have desktop Server running, sometimes, I have a better chance of the images loading with the server on than off. .. Which is weird, because it is hosted on a website live so I do not know why in order for the images to load, desktop server has to be on and services started

    Any help will be appreciated if you need any more info feel free to ask..

    I´m not sure about why the difference between local and live.

    But I was checking and it seems that I uses images hosted on another site and that site is not accesible right now.

    This is an example of images that your sites uses from that other site:

    http://testdevlock-copy.dev/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/keys-1024×768.jpg

    This site isn´t working at all http://www.testdevlock-copy.dev/

    Hey..

    Thanks for the reply, but after i posted this i actually figured it out.. By looking very carefully at the code and following the trails to where the images are stored.. Turns out, for what ever reason the directory was left as my old one, I fixed it and it works great now.. I just used sublime text find and replace to replace all testdevlock.dev to the new hosting directory..

    I am not one to post and then just wait, I like to figure things out.. But thanks for thee quick reply again..

    Hopefully someone can use this info to help them in the future.. The issue arised from the BB Plugin i used..

    That is a usual problem when moving a WordPress to another host 😉

    I am new to WordPress, I used to mess around with Drupal.. But stuff and now I am using WordPress, so it is all trial and error.. now I know what to do for next time..

    I asked another question on a different part of thee forum and ended up figuring it out as well..

    Soon no one will answer my questions, because I will just figure them out myself lol..
