    Hello

I installed your plugin due to constant issues with the other compression plugin I used. So I went to their dashboard and started restoring all the images so your plugin could recognize the images are being non-compressed. But it seems its not working.

I restored all the images in my site to their uncompressed state, and now your plugin is still saying my images are compressed by another plugin. Is there any workaround? Uploading the images all over again is out of question, since I already have tons of them, from photos, to screenshots, and other misc images (its a photography website with blog).

    Cheers

  • @msdesignfoto If the images are already compressed it won’t display in the uncompressed list of WP-Optimize.

Can you please try to disable the other image compression plugin and check if see the images are displayed in the uncompressed list WP-Optimize?

    Hello.

All the images were restored to the non-compressed state, and I have disabled the other plugin after that.

Yet, they are still flagged as being compressed by another plugin.

@msdesignfoto Like I said, If the images are already compressed it won’t display in the uncompressed list of WP-Optimize.

    Hello
And like I said, the images were not compressed by the time I tried WP Optimize. And I had no other image compression plugins active.

Meanwhile, while I was clarifying this issue, I tested another image compression plugin for the experience, and it did worked on the images. So I guess it is not an image or other plugin issue.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

If you go to Compress images > Show advanced options, press “Mark all images as uncompressed” and refresh the list, does anything appear in the list?

    Best,

I used that option, and it seems it only affects the images previously compressed by WP Optimize. If I was to replace some image, then I would use that option. But it doesn’t filter out other images (as in, images that were compressed and restored to a non-compressed state by another plugin).

@msdesignfoto Sorry for the delay, We’ll have to our development team to check this and upate you soon on the issue.
