images all have borders in 2012

    @kittensforgood

    but I want to selectively choose to have no borders in some images…

    for a good example please visit easyengrave.com and look at the 3 images. they all have borders and I have tried to do a ‘div class’ for them one by one with no success.

    ideally, I would like to just change a select img here or there, and not everything.

    another note is, I use a child theme and that is the location where I edited the CSS to make the changes to the images on easyengrave.com .

    I see 4 images on that page. Which ones do you want to remove the border from?

    Thank you for the reply. I was actually trying to remove the border from any of the bottom 3. I was merely testing different bits of code actually. my most recent on is the smaller ‘free shipping’ image.

    I was tryin to utilize this:

    <div class="noborderimage"><img class="noborderimage" alt="" src="/images/free-shipping-sized.png" border="0" /></div>

    You can remove border on images inside Posts & pages using something like:

    .entry-content img {
        box-shadow:none;
    }

    in your child’s stylesheet.

    YES!

    you did it! 🙂

    I added box-shadow:none; and shadow:none;

    and that fixed it where nothing else did 😀

    Thank you.
