I updated your WP optimize plugin and it degraded my images in banners, on link first full size image.

I deactivated the plugin, and reuploaded image. Same thing, upload full size 1920x550px, and it shows 1080×309

    WTF???

How to disable this compression since your plugin IS DEACTIVATED!!!!

I have over 400 articles and images like that to change now!!!
    Tnx for idiotism.

    HOW DO I SOLVE THIS???

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

If WP-Optimize was not de-activated, then logically that indicates that something other than WP-O is doing something to your images…. by their nature, de-activated plugins aren’t doing anything. (In WP, it’s not plugins themselves that say “Am I activated? Then I’ll do stuff”; rather, WP core decides whether to load any plugin code at all; inactive plugin = WP core never calls any plugin code).

Yea right and your plugin is flawless???
Please help me what can it be, your WP optimize was only thing that was doing anything to compression, so i would bet on that.

Does you plugin writes sizes to database?
AND does it after deactivation properly fallback to original ??
    Please answer me that.

    Hi @duckrogers007

Could you maybe share a screenshot of your smaller images? When I visit the link you provided, the banners are the 1920x550px that you expect.

I’ll mark this as resolved now, as it appears to be. Do reopen it if you need more help with this and have more information to provide.
