 * In both my add locations and add events I can upload an image as a user, in admin
   I see the image as featured, but when publishing I don’t see it. Is there a setting
   I should be using?

 * you need to use placeholders like #_EVENTIMAGE or #_LOCATIONIMAGE at settings

 * Thank you, would that go in the **Default single event format** and `Single location
   page format`
    so for example
 *     ```
