  • I did the check plug in & got this error
    wp_head()/wp_footer() is missing, contact the theme author

    <?php wp_head(); ?>

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    Appearance-> Editor in your admin bar.

    Click Header and Footer on the right hand side of your screen (one at a time).

    Paste in the following :

    <?php wp_head(); ?>
    right before </head>

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    right before </body>

    Click Update file after you edit each before moving on the the next.

    Good luck.

    thank you I did what you said & the error has now been resolved but I still load photos, get the message that it is successful & have 0 images in the gallery. Any other ideas? thanks

    The problem has been the permalinks.

    Becky from photocrati gave me some good info.

    Becky’s quick fix :

    What we have found is that most upload issues are resolved by resetting permalinks. Go to Settings >> Permalinks and select ‘Post Name’ > Save changes. Clear your browser cache & reload your site.

    Otherwise try the following link :

    Good luck

    @doublesixx I’ve been having problems uploading for weeks and that resolved my issue. Thanks!

    You’re welcome, glad I could help.

    How do I “reload my site”?
    thank you, I had someone else build this for me & I basically just use it & update it so my knowledge is EXTREMELY limited! oy vey!!!

    @lana@doublesixx is referring to refreshing or re-visiting the web page(s) in your browser. If you cleared your browser caches then your browser will “re-load” your site the next time you visit it.

    PS: Thanks @doublesixx
