Imagepaste plugin

I added the Imagepaste plugin to my WordPress site. All seemed well at first, the icon for the Imagepaste plugin was there on the toolbar; however, when pasting from my desktop, the image did not appear on the page. Does anyone know if this plugin has been deactivated somehow? If so, is there another copy/paste plugin available?
