    Hi there
Do I need separate ImageMagick plugin or is EWWW doing all the work?
(ImageMagick php library is already in use)

You definitely do not need the ImageMagick plugin if you already have the imagick PHP module active.
The main reason to use ImageMagick is that it’s typically more efficient than GD. But you still want to have some sort of plugin making sure your images are fully optimized.
