Hi, I hope someone can help. I am a newbie, but image widget 3.2.7 is not working on new website also. It brings up the “Widget Image Widget” and allows me to enter all the associated info, but if I click on “Add Image” nothing happens. Does the same thing in IE9 and Firefox 5.0. Can anyone help?

The media uploader page goes blank on my whole wordpress site. I resolved it be de-activating the image widget. Now everything works fine again.
i had the same problem, but solved it by copying the inserted image’s html from the post to the caption box, and then just copied the text i wanted to display. http://www.fitifuti.com
oops, now the images are in, but the links dont work, nothing happens when i click on them.
I am also having problems with 3.2.7
Has the programmer for the widget said anything?
Hey folks. I work with the guys who make this plugin and have contributed to it a bit. The latest version works fine for me on WP 3.2 and 3.1. Here’s what I need from people it’s not working for:
1) What version of WP are you running?
2) Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
3) Do you have a plugin or theme that overrides the built-in WP version of jQuery? We required jQuery 1.4.2, which has been in WP since version 3.0.

it’s not just on one browser/computer. It was on my computer, my client’s computer, my work computer, etc. We’ve tried Firefox 3 & Internet Explorer (various versions).

Akismet
All in One SEO
Contact Form 7
SexyBookmarks.
Those are the ones that were on all 3 sites I got errors from after upgrading. There were other plugins on a various, but these were what was in common.

“Widget Image Widget” allows me to enter all the associated info, but if I click on “Add Image” nothing happens. No popup blocker message and Popups allowed for website.
Does the same thing in IE9.
If I right mouse click on “Add Image” and select “Open Link in New Tab” it opens a new tab and lets me select an image file, I can select upload, but when I select “Insert Into Widget” it goes to a blank browser tab and original tab is unchanged. So I cannot insert a graphic with this widget.
Does anyone have any ideas to fix this?
Okay folks, I’ve made an update that should hopefully fix this. Try downloading 3.2.8, clear your browser cache, and see if it works.
Tried it on one, seems to work fine. Now to go back to yesterday’s work and see if it works there.

Hi, now after the update i able to insert the image, but there is no frame around it. I havent updated or changed anything on my theme, and i had it before.
Image widget 3.2.8 not working for me.
I’m at WP 3.2.1
I’m a newbie, but I think I’ve followed your instructions.
Added the widget to the sidebar.
Uploaded a 128 x 128 pxl image.
Added it to the image widget box, added link, added and saved.
All I see is a thin oblong box!
Any suggestions please?

Johnes – have you tried adding your image to a page or post? Does it appear? I’ve noticed sometimes images that are loaded to the media gallery still end up with 0mb of information, basically they didn’t load correct. So check the image itself.

But I then have the problem that it is also a link to another site of mine and I can’t see how to add a hyperling to the image,
