 * Good afternoon! When converting images, the plugin breaks WebP images, a black
   background appears, and icons. It would also be nice if the plugin understood
   that it’s a logo or icon and converted them to SVG or didn’t touch them initially.
   There should also be an option to repair a broken image or icon from the media
   library without re‑uploading it. Where it breaks: – System composition (photo

 * Thanks — this is the same underlying cause as the black-background PNG: your 
   server’s AVIF encoder isn’t preserving the alpha (transparency) channel. WebP
   and icons can be transparent too, so they hit the same issue and come out with
   a black background. It’s not that the plugin is “breaking” them — the originals
   are untouched — it’s that the generated AVIF loses the transparency on that encoder.
 * To fix the two spots you mentioned (System composition, Inspection Camera) right
   now:
    1. Add those images to the exclusion list so they won’t be re-converted.
    2. Remove the already-generated broken AVIFs with the “Delete generated images (
       revert)” button on the settings page — your originals are never touched.
    3. Purge your cache / CDN.
       After that they’ll serve the original transparent images
       again.
 * On your suggestions:
    - Auto-detecting logos/icons and leaving them alone: yes, I agree, and that’s
      exactly what I’m building — the plugin will detect transparent images and 
      skip them automatically, so this stops happening on its own. (I’ll be honest
      on one point: converting logos/icons to SVG isn’t something I can do reliably—
      you can’t accurately turn a raster image back into a true vector — so the 
      right fix there is to skip them, not convert them.)
    - Repairing a broken image from the media library without re-uploading: also
      a good idea. The revert button already does this in bulk today; a per-image
      version is on my list.
 * Proper transparency handling is my top priority for the next release. Thanks 
   for the detailed reports — they’ve genuinely shaped what I’m working on.
