Here is an example of the gallery.php file with the voting tag already in it (see line 48).
You can copy paste the contents of this file to replace your current gallery.php
OK, I copied that in. But the image now looks like this:
http://therealmkeepers.com/art-contest-voting/
There is still no voting option. I have voting enabled for the image. What am I doing wrong?
GOT IT. I pasted the wrong code. THANK YOU.
I have a photo contest that ends tomorrow, and of course I had to go and update 2 days before it ended. doh! I have bben trying to fihure out how to re-add the voting tag, to no avail.
With the latest update, /nextgen-gallery/view/gallery.php does NOT exist.
What I do see is /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php so how/where do I re-add the voting tag ‘<?php echo nggv_imageVoteForm($image->pid); ?>’
Why, with each update does this tag snippet get overwritten? is that really necessary?

Hi Joshua
I know you emailed me about this, but just a message to other people coming across this thread.
NGG Voting is not compatible with NGG v2 yet. I am working on a update to get it working.
Thanks for working on it – good luck

Hi Josh
Just a follow up. As per your email, the correct place to add the voting tag is now /nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/thumbnails/index.php
I have updated the FAQ with the information. I will try going through all the new settings and options in NGG, and update the FAQ as necessary. For now, it seems all image voting functions work as expected, with just the template location being different.

Hi Tobias
Firstly, please don’t spam the forum by posting in more than 1 place.
Secondly, you can do this yourself, if you just read the FAQ and follow the instructions.
Obviously English isn’t your first language, so if you are struggling with the instructions, you can ask a specific question about it and I will be glad to help.
