Support » Fixing WordPress » Image uploading trouble

  • My site is
    Wordpress version: 3.4.2 and
I am using WPZoom Monograph Theme version: 2.1.2

I am not sure how to explain this but going to give it a shot. When I go to insert an image into a post I am having three issues.

    First issue:
I can not select thumbnail, small, medium or large for size to insert all I get is original. Why is this and how can I change?

    Second issue:
I can not insert the caption the first time I insert the image into the post because it breaks. The caption goes outside as if a paragraph and not attached to image. I have to insert image first then go back into the image and add the caption. Why is this and how can I fix?

    Third issue:
I am unable to change the image upload size it is restricted to 2MB and would like it to be 6MB. How do I fix this or change it?

I was told it could be a plugin issue and I have tried disabling and seeing which plugin it was but to no hope. Here is a list of what plugins I use currently.

    Visual Form Builder
    SlideDeck 2 Lite

    1. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    2. See (1).

    3. The max upload size is being set by your server – not WordPress. You either need to increased the max_upload_size via php.ini or contact your hosts for assistance with this.
