# Image uploading error (not 'http' error, different error)

 * I am running into an odd image uploading error. I have setup several wordpress
   installs on this host, and never run into it before.
 * It’s not showing as the ‘http’ error that I see a lot of posts about on here,
   or as a permissions error. I am just getting this error every time I try to upload
   an image:
 * > “slider_1.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
   >  The uploaded file could
   > not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/sideeffectsdesign.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-
   > content/uploads.
 * The file cruches ok, but then this error comes up.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Change the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have 
   problems, try 767 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions
   on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

   causing the problem.
