# Image uploader problem

 * Yes, I have been reading the topic “Image/Media Uploader problems”. But it’s 
   still not working. I have been trying one million different soloutions, but EVERYTIME
   I get the RED X.
 * Can anyone PLEASE help me? I’m getting really mad. But looking forward to any
   suggestion 🙂
 * I have reinstalled wp, tried different pictures and nothing yet is working…

 * Yes. Have tried both PC and Mac, Explorer and Safari. It’s still the same.
    I
   allways get the red x where the picture should be… No preview either…

 * Now I got the message “http-error” when I’m trying to upload.
 * Got an idea?

 * I’ve had this problem for each of my wordpress installs and I have finally figured
   it out.
 * On your server directory in wp-content folder create a new folder call ‘uploads’
 * Then login to wordpress and under the Settings –>Miscellaneous
    there is a section
   asking ‘Store Uploads in this folder’ enter wp-content/uploads (even if it says
   something else or is blank)
 * This worked (finally!) for me
