# Image Uploader Error Message

 * When I try to upload photos from my computer I get his error message.
 * Unable to create directory /home/.carmine/mommiedaze/mommiedaze.com/wp-content/
   uploads/2009/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * What does this mean? Is it a WP problem or a problem with my host server?

 * Including what sovled the problem for me.
    There are also several other threads
   related to this issue with many different fixes, just search the forum for “Unable
   to create directory”.

 * Deleting everything before wp-content/uploads/2009/03 worked. Thanks!
