Image Upload Failure

    I’ve been asked to look into an error in a friend’s wordpress site. Its an image upload error, after selecting the image I want to (in the “Add an Image” screen) and hit upload it gives me the following message:

    “Launch2009web.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to /srv/www/themarketing-collective.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/03.

    I have NEVER seen this before and I have been using WordPress for what feels like ages. So as far as I can make out it the upload path must be wrong… but the wp-content/uploads/2011/03 is all there, but I don’t get the rest of it.

    What is the Fix for this!?
