Yes when i’m uploading an image to a post. If i add photos to the media library it says the same

“6.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/06.

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

Im struggling to do this with the permission changes

    Why?

Same issue, tried editing the permissions through Filezilla and through control panel, still wont work. Anyone have this problem?

    Hi! Same problem here!

Tried to put 775 on the upload/2014 folder and it doesn’t work better.

It is quite annoying and the error is not always there. Some days I can upload, some days not. I tried to free space on my media storage space and still same error.

    Pleeeeeeaaaaase help!
