    Don’t panic ! just sit tight ! and do what ever we have done !
    Summary of our Proceedings is
    [ expletive deleted, really don’t do that ] wait in hope of a new update that fix this bug ! but in fact I think no body is coming down and read these problems …

    I’m not panicing at all, actually. I can deal with work-arounds to get images to show… but my clients who are not tech savvy and rely on the editor, aren’t as fortunate.

    Something that may help developers .
    by Stoping uploder . any other ajaxed/jquery(not sure which one !)parts of my web sit had stoped working !

    @mvp4me76
    sure U don’t !
    my main problem is my client too . 😉

    mine’s working now…. i changed the uploads folder permissions (back and forth 10 times to different things that i had already tried ten times…) and now all images and uploads are working properly.

    @ mvp4me76
    can you explain ? what did you exactly done ?
    @ Subhash.at
    not all of my client had this problem !only those who are using WP for more than 7-8 month ! my main guess is that a plugin cause this bug which cant be solved by deactivating…
    guess ,,, guess ,,, It’s all I can do at the moment !(so hope less! eh?)

    I changed the uploads folder and all folders inside of it to 755 permission

    What does your host say? Unless something changes then fixed problems remain fixed. Can you share a link to one of your impacted sites?

    Did you do what was suggested above?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Twelve theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    This is a self-help forum and you need to work through your problems yourself. There’s no magic pill and if you do not take the steps to sort it out then we cannot help you.

    If it’s really urgent and you need professional help then please consider hiring someone.

    @jan Dembowski
    ok I know I know ! this was a trick to attract developers & any other who knows something about WP ! ! ! sorry if I was a bit gross!
    And the problem !

    Link to your site?

    Something’s not right: as I mentioned “Unless something changes then fixed problems remain fixed.”

    Also are you getting any Javascript errors on your browser when you enable the console? See the master list and see if any of that applies to your site.

    2-GD Star rating – which doesn’t show results if some one rate something .
    it keeps loading !!
    so what ?! both of those two plugins have/needs images which is saved in Upload directory .
    I think this problem “”Image Upload Error WP 3.5″” have a connection with upload folder !!!(a very noob Conclusions,eh?)

    —-any Idea ??

    After I updated the site to WordPress version 3.5.2 appeared to me an error: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”

    What have I done?

    1) I disabled the default theme (I did tests with the 2 themes offered by wordpress twentyeleven and twentytwelve)
    2) I disabled all plugins
    3) I deleted all plugins
    4) I inserted a code in wp-config.php file as I read here in the forum (I inserted the code before “require_once(ABSPATH .‘wp-settings.php’);“ and before the line of code “‘define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);’”) Of course I inserted the code: define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
    5) I updated wordpress manual 3 times

    Of course, every test I did refresh the browser … I deleted cookies … I deleted all browsing data in Firefox and Chrome.

    The error still there and I was desperate….

    How do I fix the problem? I moved the site to another server. Works perfectly now!

    According to GoDaddy (with whom I host many sites) my media uploader problem in 3.5.2 is an Apache mod_rewrite issue. The uploader is crashing my PHP.

    The error logs show that the Media Uploader is attempting to create a file above the root of my shared hosting account:

    Inside mod_dir, setting document_root to PARENT_DOCUMENT_ROOT

    From my 3.5.1 installation:
    mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function, referer http://example.com

    I have read many WP users who are affected by this and similar issues. In my case, I appear to be out of luck because Godaddy has recently decided to suspend the mod_rewrite rule on all its Linux shared hosting accounts.

    I have freshly installed wordpress 3.5.2, but i am not able to add media files. i am getting some error.
