[resolved] Image underline, help me remove it please?! (4 posts)

    I have searched EVERYWHERE and still cannot find a solution.

    I am making a website for one of my friends' band. I have come across an issue which results on this page: http://www.artifactsband.zzl.org/music
    (don't judge the .zzl.org, it is only because it is free and I am not ready to publish a .com :P)

    Anyway, The images on this page are, for some reason, being underlined when linked to the page it is being directed to. The links throughout the website are not underlined, nor have they ever been. I have added the following code to the style.css file and it has removed the hover underline:
    .image {
    text-decoration: none;
    border-top-style: none;
    border-right-style: none;
    border-bottom-style: none;
    border-left-style: none;
    But it is still showing a line under the static image. Any ideas on how to remove this to leave just the image itself with no underline when it is both static and upon mouse over.

    I think I have provided all necessary information, but if you require more, let me know.
    Thanks for all your time and assistance in advance. :)

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

    The 'a href' seems to be creating the underline, but I still don't know how to fix this without removing the link directly. :L

    I found the issue to be on line 159 of my style.css. It seems that there was already a class assigned to the 'a href' which wanted to leave a bottom border. Anyway, I fixed this thanks to Firebug.

    Cheers for the assistance esmi.
