Image title in carrousel

Hi,

Is it possible to have the image title shown in the carrousel/slider – and not just the ligthbox? We have a product in maaaany colors, and it would be nice if the customers could match the color of the image with the choice in dropdown (for example it comes in many different variations of blue) without first clicking the image to open lightbox. I know the color changes when selected in variations dropdown – but my client would really like to have the title on the images too…
Makes sense??
