[resolved] Image Slideshow with Manual Controls (3 posts)

    Hi there

Does anyone know of a WordPress plugin that automatically rotates/changes images at a set time, BUT IMPORTANTLY that includes "manual controls" for rotating through the images by clicking on a button / buttons? I want it for a feature on a homepage.

My ideal is a plugin that will do the following:
    - 3 big images on the homepage, automatically rotates/transitions to the next image at a specifiable interval.
    - optional continual rotation
    - 3 little circles down in the bottom right corner, each corresponding to a link to one of the images. The links should ALWAYS be available (ie. not just appear at the end of rotating through all images)
    - ideally only loads the images when needed (this is not such an important option, as I'll only be using 3 images - but I see so many demos for plugins where the page is over 1MB in size which is just not cool for a homepage).

Ideally I want something much like the following template's big image rotator but without the fancy/excessive transitions between images: http://osc.template-help.com/wt_27422/index.html

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Matt

I guess also needing it to pause on mouse-over, or having a pause button, might be asking to much eh!

Anyone know of any libraries that do it, and perhaps I could create a plugin myself?

    Cheers
    Matt

Guess there's more questions than answers on this forum.
    Found many JQuery options around:

This'd be a good option for what I want too: http://mootools.net/forge/p/mgfx_tabs
