# Image sizes – custom fields

 * Is there a way to use custom fields so that a different photo appears in the 
   slider than in the other image on the front page. For example, I used a 1200 
   x 500 image in the feature spot, then that photo was scaled down to 360px × 150px
   on the front page. However, I’d rather have 360 x 360 images on the front page.

 * Hi [@kellis21](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kellis21/), this is possible
   but would require a fair bit of customization of the theme. More than I can get
   into here.
 * You can control the slider posts using the sticky posts feature, so perhaps you
   can set 1200×500 featured images for sticky posts and 360×360 featured images
   for non-sticky? That would require no customization and ensures that the slider
   doesn’t show the same posts as the grid below.
