I added in most of my posts (not all) at the beginning a medium image (set to 300×300), left aligned… And with Gutenberg I can’t do it.

Also, we don’t have (or not so easily) access to alt text, title, and classes in the post context as before…
For example, I had some css for those medium-sized images that I can’t get to apply.

Yes, I could go and edit the code… but doing this for every post is not comfortable, and not everybody feels comfortable editing code.

In general I am becoming comfortable with Gutenberg… but it needs still some functions that we had before.

    Hiya,

You should be able to add a left-aligned image, just add the image you want using the Image Block, and align it left, it will pop to the side of the following paragraph block as you described.

There’s still changes being implemented for image and media handling though, so your other concerns may be addressed moving forward, although I believe most of the viable options are in the right hand context editor right now.

Custom CSS on the other hand, you’ll probably still need to do via code editing (or, if it’s something you use on all of them, giving it a custom class you re-use, and then using the Additional CSS feature in the Customizer might be an even better option).
