Image Size on Post Page in Administrator
-
Great plugin! Works perfectly on my site.
However, on the WP Administrator page for posts the external image shows up at 400×600 px rather than the normal thumbnail for imagaes that are in my media library. This forces the Title column to display 6-7 characters. So all the port tiles are long and skinny. Thanks, Kim

Hi, @kimallenpeng.
Sorry for that o_O.
Are you having this problem on the editor?
Or is the problem in the table/list of posts?Let me know, please.
Hi Marcel, it is on the table/list of post. I can send you a screen shot if that helps.
Yes, please, send me that, @kimallenpeng.
Besides that, it would be nice if you paste here the code of the image. (right click -> Inspect).
On my site, the code is:
[img src=”https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5152/29664395560_a2c5f3352b_q_d.jpg” width=”32″]
So my image size is 32px x proportional height.
Thanks.

Segoe UI—Local file(7 glyphs)To send me the screenshot you will need to click in the “img” button of this editor and paste the URL.
How to get the URL? Uploading the screenshot to your media library.
Above the code above, it’s not exactly what I need. I need just the img tag.
To get that, if you are using Chrome, do that:
1. right click on the image;
2. click on Inspect;
3. Ctrl + c.That’s all =)

If you can’t copy the img tag you can follow these steps:
1. right click on the image;
2. click on Inspect;
3. get the screenshot <————-Here’s the code for one of the images
OK. That’s it:
[img src=”https://ichef-1.bbci.co.uk/news/660/cpsprodpb/50BA/production/_96766602_mediaitem96766601.jpg” alt=”GETTY IMAGES”]
For some reason there is no width in the img tag. I don’t know how it was removed =/
Image code
scren shot
Can I just edit the code and add =/
I think I can try to use style=”width:32px” instead of width=32.
It’s an attempt.
Whatever is removing the size of the tag (maybe a plugin/theme you have installed), I hope it won’t remove the style I will apply. Otherwise you will have to disable the “Featured Image” column. There is a button above the table/list that allows to add or remove the columns.
What do you think about that?
I’ll disable the feature column for now. I also try style=”width:32px” . . . it is only about 40 edits
thanks
Before release a new version, it would be great if you can test before. Are you able to edit the plugin code?
I don’t know if can paste code here. Tesing…
echo sprintf(‘‘, $url);
o_O This editor stinks..
Let’s talk by email? I will send you the instruction to replace the code.
You can get my email in the plugin settings.
Or you can paste your email here (if you don’t care about spam).
