 * Hi,
 * first of all: It would be nice if you could at least publish a short tutorial/
   how-to. I’ve been fiddling around here for four hours now and can’t get a clean
   result. ;(
 * Second: Which settings have to be done on the image, so that the image is centered
   in the lightbox and no scrollbars are visible?
 * Third: Which image format (2:1, 3:4; 16:9, etc.) and which image size (1200 x
   800, 1024 x 640, etc.) do you recommend for the pictures in the lightbox?
 * Forth: Which image format (2:1, 3:4; 16:9, etc.) and which image size (1200 x
   800, 1024 x 640, etc.) do you recommend for the calendar picture?`
 * Thanks for the quick help.
 * Best regards

 * In addition i found this very strange line in the glihtbox code:
 * <iframe class=”vimeo-video gvideo iframe-ready” src=”[http://exampleurl&#8221](http://exampleurl&#8221);
   style=”height: 506px; width: 900px;” allowfullscreen=””></iframe>
 * Hint: [http://exampleurl](http://exampleurl) is only a placeholder for my url
 * So, what has vimeo and the box format 900 x 506 px to do with the advent plugin?

 * Hi,
 * you’re right – it is still a bit fiddly. We’re planning to make everything a
   bit more intuitive in the future.
 * There’s a whole blog post inside the lightbox – if you put only a picture in
   the size 900x506px it should do what you are looking for.
 * The calendar picture can be any size, really – it will grow/shrink to fit your
   blog theme.
 * The Vimeo-class comes from glightbox – the lightbox script can be used to natively
   embed videos, but we don’t use this feature, yet. (We’re planning to – but it
   is indeed pretty hard to create a good user interface for that.)

 * Of course a picture, which I can link, is enough for me. But how do i do that?
   If I click on a day in the calendar in the backend, I will be redirected to the
   normal post editor. Strangely enough, the box for the post format is missing
   there. Did you mean this solution?
 * [@calendar](https://wordpress.org/support/users/calendar/) picture: No, not every
   picture fits. In the backend, the calendar is displayed horizontally, in the
   frontend it is vertically. I need at least the right aspect ratio.

 * There’s a button “Add Media” – use this one to add the picture. If you don’t
   insert anything else, it should work.
 * And there is no fixed aspect ratio – the calendar is written in a way that it
   works as best as possible with most themes out there. It takes the size from
   the theme and automatically adapts to that.

 * Good morning, i tried it again, but believe me: a picture with the dimensions
   900 x 506 results in Scrollbars below and the right side.
 * The developer console tells me that their is no border, margin oder padding around.

   I really think the lightbox is the problem. ;(
 * Please, could you give me a working solution.
    Three days away from the 1st december,
   i don’t have time left to waist.

 * I’m not sure what you are expecting, to be honest. We’ll probably do one more
   little bugfix release before the weekend, but nothing that has anything to do
   with the lightbox. And we can’t debug how our plugin and your site/theme work
   together. We think we found a solution that works for most people – if it doesn’t
   work for you, I’m sorry, but maybe the other plugins out there that do the same
   thing are closer to what you’re looking for.
