# Image Size does not work

 * Hi there,
 * I’m trying to set the thumbnail image to 200px width and 150px height. I have
   tried modifying in Setting > Media but it does not work. Can you have a check
   for me please?

 * WordPress generates the thumbnails when they are first **uploaded**. If you change
   the settings in Settings > Media, it will only apply to newly uploaded images.
 * You can use the [Regenerate Thumbnails](http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails)
   plugin to regenerate existing images.
