Image RSS Feed in a post

Apologies if this isn’t the right place for this, it’s my first post!

I know that I can use an RSS widget to display images in the sidebar but I was wondering if it would be possible to insert the first 10 images from an RSS feed into an actual blog post?

In otherwords, something that would allow me to specify the RSS feed containing the images in a specific post create screen. When this post was displayed, it would draw a 5 x 5 grid of clickable images from that feed that, when any of these images were clicked, would take me to the originating site?
