Image rotation issues and incorrect mobile browser display

I’m having an issue with my site – and I think it started when I upgraded to 4.0:

I use my iphone to take photos. I upload them and rotate them properly on my Mac web browser. The site looks fine in FF / Chrome, etc — but the images are NOT properly rotated when viewing the site on my iphone / ipad.

If you look back through my site, you’ll see that all the images are rotated properly. It wasn’t until recently the images won’t rotate after I edit them in WP.

I’ve tried several different themes thinking maybe it was the code in the theme — but it seems to be a back end issue of some sort.
