Image rollover help

Hello all,

Im building this site for my client and i like the standard image rollover class however this class is only available for the portfolio items. I would like to apply this class to any image on the site with a link. Is this possible?

By searching and using css transitions, i made my own image rollover, which is a fading effect but still standard one is better

If anyone can help, i will really appreciate this, i have little experience in html/css and i spent 2 days banging my head trying to find it 🙁
